In the past couple of days I have been learning Silver Efex pro software to do what I never had the means to learn in the darkroom, back in the day. I could certainly burn through printing paper but was always restrained by time and the cost of it.

The software is designed to craft convincing b&w from digital color images, but works equally well with scans from analog negatives, color or b&w.

Often while traveling with a camera we arrive just as the sun slips over the horizon of a moment, too late to expose film, only time enough to expose our hearts.

Dorothea Lange
A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know.

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE!
Ernst Haas
A photograph is neither taken nor seized by force. It offers itself up. It is the photo that takes you. One must not take photos.
